Circa 39: This boutique hotel is the cutest. The hotel rooms are very vibrant with green wallpaper and it smells like a dream. Seriously! They pump some sort of scent through the vents and it smells so good!
The Palms: This is where a bunch of our friends stayed while in Miami and where the wedding was. This hotel is an absolute dream- so pretty and the hotel backs right up to the beach. This hotel (and Circa) are both located on Collins Ave, which has a ton of hotels+ restaurants. The Palms was closer to Starbucks (my fav), but either way you can’t go wrong with the location.
Wynwood Walls: This area had a ton of artwork on walls (hence the name 😜) but they also just had a bunch of different art galleries to go into as well. Mike and I enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and checking out all the artwork. It was like being in an outdoor art museum.
Miami Beach Boardwalk: Mike and I walked the boardwalk a few times. It was nice to just be outside and check out the different hotel pools and look at the ocean. The lifeguard stations are so colorful, too, so definitely check those out.
Villa Casa Casuarina: This is the old Versace mansion. I’m bummed that we weren’t able to make it here due to our quick stay in Miami, but the pictures make it look STUNNING. I so want to go back to Miami to go here (and for the weather, of course!)
Broken Shaker: We ended up going here for some appetizers and drinks and it did not disappoint. There is something about sitting outside, enjoying a cocktail + apps that is so good for the soul (especially when you come back to -19 degree weather!!) Would highly recommend getting the artichoke fries 😋
Jule’s Kitchen: Mike and I got brunch here on our first day in Miami and it was SO good. I got the stuffed french toast and Mike got toast/scrambled eggs/sausage/breakfast tots and both meals were really yummy. Our friends ended up going to Jule’s Kitchen for lunch and they said it was good, too. They had a bunch of options for breakfast or lunch so you can’t go wrong here.
Malibu Farm Miami Beach: This is another place we never got to go to because of timing, but it’s still on my list to try! I have only heard amazing things about this restaurant. They are all about have fresh and organic food and the view faces right onto the water. 😍
Hope you all enjoyed and this post brings you a little warmth. To say I am ready for spring is an understatement! I can’t wait for it to start warming up here in Chicago or for another warm weather vacay, whichever comes first!
