Lately I have been all about getting outside of my comfort zone. Whether that be with new experiences, talking to new people, or just trying a new workout. The only way to grow as a person is if we put ourselves in those uncomfortable situations that help us learn new things about ourselves. It definitely sucks to be uncomfortable but it is so important for our growth as humans.
I had the opportunity to try a free class at F45 last week. I was so nervous leading up to the class. It’s not the most comfortable thing to try a new class where you don’t know the format. Thankfully my bestie, Olivia, came with me to try it out. Thank god for friends who are literally up for anything.
Once we got there, those nervous jitters went away. The staff was SO nice and knowledgable. While we were there we did the “22” workout, which was a cardio workout that literally worked out my whole body. There were 18 different exercises that we did 2x each. F45 has 36 different workouts that change daily. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays focuses on a 45 min cardio workout. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays focuses on 45 mins of resistance training. Saturday is a hybrid of both resistance and cardio that lasts for 60 mins.
I loved how quickly the workout went by! Rotating from station to station and doing different workouts and less “cool down” time made the class fly by! It was such a good workout and definitely had me sweating! Also, I love how many different workout options there are so you truly can never get “bored.” If you have one near you, I would definitely recommend trying it out! There are ton of locations popping up! Can’t say enough good things about my experience. If you are looking to try out something new or looking for a good workout, F45 is definitely somewhere you should try!
