I recently asked on instagram what holiday gift guides you were looking for and a guide for what to buy in laws is one that was brought up. Purchasing gifts for your in laws can be super stressful since they are so hard to buy for. I tried to find items that I thought would be useful for either mother or father in laws but could also be purchased for your own parents, too! Here’s to hoping this makes buying for them stress-free this holiday season.
1.Robe
This is a barefoot dreams robe! If you own the blanket then you know how heavenly it truly is (and if you don’t own it yet, I’ve raved about it here and here). I can only imagine the robe is just as soft and cozy as the blanket. The perfect gift to pamper your mother in law with.
2. Echo Show
I’ve heard great things about this! Anything you can think of can be done with this – hook it up to your Alexa, get new recipe ideas, watch tv/movies, make calls, etc! I’m thinking this would be the perfect gift for my father-in-law since he is obsessed with any new sort of technology.
3. Insulated Wine Glass
Like a Yeti, but for wine. Perfect for concerts, the beach, the pool, sporting events and basically anywhere else you can consume wine. I’m sure any mother in law who enjoys a glass of red or white would love this gift.
4. Airpods
Like I said before, my father in law loves technology and airpods are a huge hit in our house. Mike loves the pair he has and uses them all the time. If you have a father in law (or mother in law) who commutes on the train or travels a lot, these would be perfect.
5. Faux Fur Hat
This faux fur hat is perfect for any mother in law because it’s super cute and on trend. Also, it’ll be utilized all winter long (especially if you live here in Chicago where it’s cold for what seems like forever!)
6. Cookbook
I own this cookbook and love it. It has some of the best recipes ever and would be perfect if your in laws enjoy cooking!
7. Multi-Use Grill Tool
How perfect would this be for the father in law who loves to grill. This has five tools in one making it super useful for everything from drinks to cooking. It includes a spatula, basting brush, fork, corkscrew, and bottle opener.
