I’m taking a break from all things Nordstrom Sale because Mike and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary on Sunday! It’s crazy to think that Mike and I have been married for 2 years. To be honest though, it feels like we have been married for longer. Last year we celebrated our one year anniversary by going to Banff/ Lake Louise in Canada. (I have a full blog post about it here) I’m sad we aren’t going anywhere this year. However, we bought a house (!!) so that is kind of an adventure in itself.

In the 2 years we have been married we have learned a lot. Not only about one another but also about what it takes to keep your marriage happy and healthy. Here are 3 things I have learned from my own marriage that I hope will help you, too!

  1. Communication is literally EVERYTHING. Mike & I have gotten in too many fights because we didn’t properly communicate what we were thinking/feeling. It is so important to talk your partner and be clear about your intentions.
  2. Make out everyday! Seriously. Try it. 😉
  3. Remember to have fun with each other! Mike truly is my best friend and we really do have fun together, even in the most boring situations. Life is too short to not have fun with your partner.

Hope these tips are helpful to you if you are married/in a relationship. They have definitely been super helpful in our marriage. Hope you all enjoy these wedding pics, too. 🖤 It’s so fun to look back at these pictures from our wedding day.
