Outfit Details: Jeans // Top // Mules // Bag
I was VERY hesitant about mom jeans from the beginning. I’m fully aware that some jeans just DON’T work for my body type. My hips are bigger and sometimes a straight leg type of jean just makes my hips look even bigger. Not my vibe at all. I decided to try them out, though, just to see. Let me tell ya, I’m so glad I did.
I loved the look of them on my body from the moment I tried them on. I’m all about a higher waisted jean, which these had. I love how it just sucks you in and hides anything that may be happening in the gut area. The straight leg was fitted around my thighs and a little looser around my shins, but it still had a shape to it, ya know? Plus the rips kinda make the jeans a little edgy.
The best part about these jeans though is how comfy they are. I’m usually not the kinda girl to wear jeans to go out and run errands. These jeans are so comfy though that I’ve found myself grabbing for them to run around town in. Throw them on with a sweater and sneakers for more of a casual vibe. Mom jeans can also be dressed up with pair of heels and a cute sweater or blouse and you’re good to hit the town. Either way, anyone should totally own a pair of mom jeans. They are so worth it and will become one of those staple pieces in your closet that you will gravitate towards wearing over and over again.
I linked a bunch of different pairs of mom jeans that are at great price points below.
