I always love the fresh start of a new year! So much optimism for what is to come. All the goals and intentions people set to help make this year the best one yet. I’ve been thinking a lot about what my intentions will be for 2020. I’ve already found a workout I love! (I talk about it in more detail here.) Albeit I could probably go more throughout the week. 😬 So if not a workout goal, then what?!

I don’t want to start the year by setting unreasonable or unachievable goals. I want to be able to look back at 2020 and know that I worked hard to achieve my goals and was able to succeed, whether a big or small goal. For 2020, I decided the best way to do this would be to write out my intentions each month.

I decided the best way to do this would be using this planner since it has a spot for each months goals. Being able to see my goals for the month on a daily basis will help me to better achieve them! It’s one thing to keep a goal in your head, it’s another to write it down and look at it daily. The more I see it, the more likely I am to work towards that goal, ya know?? These planners are the best and I have been using them for years! There are so many different versions to choose from, too, so it makes it easy to choose which is best for you.

As far as my specific intentions go, one that I’m trying to work towards is reading more throughout 2020. I find myself only reading during breaks when I’m not working. Which to me is sad, because I really do love reading. I find it can be hard to read throughout the school year but I’m going to try my best to find time to incorporate it.
