Since Christmas has ended, I’ve felt like my home has needed a total refresh. Maybe it’s because it went from being super decorated to nothing at all. OR it could be all this cold weather has kept me cooped up inside my house. Regardless, I did some shopping and found a ton of fun pieces for my home.
After putting everything together the vibe seems to be very malibu/ boho-esque. My hope was that it would brighten up our upstairs living room. Our couch from our condo ended up going in that space and I feel like it makes the room look so dark. I needed some lighter colored pillows to help make the space appear brighter, which I think helped! My hope is that in the future we can get rid of the couch and change it to a loveseat and two chairs since we rarely hang out in their anyways.

I’ve been needing a bigger mirror because the one I had in our living room just wasn’t cutting it for me. Not to mention, I didn’t love the frame around it. Since moving my Christmas tree, the space next to it needed to be filled as well. I finally found a faux palm plant that I liked that didn’t break the bank. Who knew plants were so expensive?! I love how this area turned out and feel like the bigger mirror makes the space look lighter and brighter.

While I was shopping I also found this super cute lemon plant. I already have some fun orange stems and thought the lemon was a fun citrus addition.

I’m really pleased with how these little touches have reinvigorated our space. I know we still have spots that need to be refreshed or added to. For now, I’m really happy with how far we’ve made this house our own. Below I linked a bunch of the items I purchased, as well as some similar items too!
